Lavender & Cream Cheese Swirled Brownies
When we signed up on
Twitter and Philly Cheese began following us, we began to follow them! and
discovered their marbled brownies. We had to give our brownie kit a
test... and behold! We adapted this recipe from
Philadelphia Marble Brownies.
Of course you'll need a package of our
Lavender Brownie Kit.
Prepare our brownie kit as explained on our label with the exception
of using 'only 3 eggs' (the fourth egg will be used in with the
cream cheese).
Additional ingredients:
8
oz. Philadelphia Cream Cheese,
softened
(for best consistency soften to room temp.)
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with a mixer until creamy. Add the
sugar, egg and vanilla; mix well. Pre-heat oven to 350° F.
♥ Spread 2/3 of the brownie batter into a greased 9"x13" pan
♥ Spoon about 2/3 of cream cheese mixture over the first layer of
brownie mix
♥ Top with the rest of the brownie mix, and then with the rest of
the cream cheese mixture
With a knife, swirl through all the layers. The cream cheese makes a
beautiful design in, and on top of the brownies. Bake 35-40 minutes or
until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs attached, and the
cream cheese lightly browned; see picture above. Cool, cut and enjoy.
Refrigerate OR wrap and keep them in the freezer, they will remain
soft... you can enjoy them
right out of the freezer. Also, put them in the microwave for that fresh
baked chewy goodness.

Lavender & Peanut Butter Swirled Brownies
Oh geez, just when we
thought... how could life get any sweeter? These are to SCREAM about! Fudgy,
creamy, crunchy... Heavenly delicious.
Prepare our brownie kit as explained on our label with the exception
of using 'only 3 eggs' (the fourth egg will be used in with the
peanut butter batter).
Additional ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter, chunky or creamy (we used chunky, you can see the
peanut chunks)
1/3 cup sugar
4 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons
flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
In a separate bowl, using a mixer, beat peanut
butter, sugar, butter, flour, vanilla and egg until well blended.
Pre-heat oven to 350° F.
Layer a 9"x13" pan
with aluminum foil, spray the foil with cooking spray.
♥ Spread 2/3 of the brownie batter onto foil in the pan
♥ Spoon and spread peanut butter mixture on top of
brownie batter
♥ Dollop the rest of the remaining brownie batter
With a knife, swirl
through the layers. Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out with
a few moist crumbs attached. Cool, cut and enjoy. Refrigerate OR wrap
and keep them in the freezer, they will remain soft... you can enjoy them
right out of the freezer. Also, put them in the microwave for that fresh
baked chewy goodness.
Another bonus! Crumble brownies over ice cream and take life to
another
level.
